Hey there! I’m Kelly Korn.
I’m here for you, your practice, and your goals. I take joy in teaching the classical method of Pilates with humor, empathy, and expert guidance. You’ll find a deeper and more connected Pilates practice and have fun doing it, so you can handle all that life throws at you.
A little bit about me… ❊
I have been incredibly fortunate to have found my Pilates practice 25 years ago, long before it became a world-wide phenomenon! I have been honored to teach and help wonderful students for the past 15 years, and the longer I go, the more I am fascinated by this wonderful movement practice and the difference it has made in so many lives. Over the years, I have helped people work through hip replacements, disc herniation, pre- and post-natal, severe anxiety, MS, Rheumatoid Arthritis, scoliosis, and many other challenges.
I feel passionate about Pilates because it has allowed me to work through numerous dance injuries and body alignment issues, as well as a struggle with depression, anxiety, and a recent cancer diagnosis. It gives me focus, discipline, and respect for what my body can do.
I love the discipline and structure of the classical method, but am in constant awe of how flexible it is. I will focus on your goals and extract what you need out of the method.
My initial teacher training was with classical masters Lori Coleman Brown, Lauren Stephen, and others in the Seattle area. I also continue to be a student and have trained with Cary Regan and Phoebe Higgins here in NYC, and with Maria Earle of Barcelona, Spain.
